Where It All Started

Every company has a first job. Ours was on December 2, 2022 — a 40-foot sidewalk at Blanco and 1604 in north San Antonio, for Taco Palenque. The photos below are that job, start to finish — and we will never forget a single step of it.

Earlier that year, we had met one of Taco Palenque’s superintendents. When Mona Garcia opened RaM’S Concrete, she called him and asked if he had any work a brand-new company could start on. He gave us this sidewalk. It wasn’t a lot — but it was a chance, and a chance was all we needed.

It was just two of us. No employees, no crew — up early every morning, home late every night, and rain that kept stopping the work. It took about a week, and we gave that little sidewalk everything we had. When it was done, we met the owner of the Taco Palenque chain. He liked what he saw — and he still gives us work today.

That’s who we are. We don’t just pour concrete — we build with heart. Taco Palenque took a chance on a company that was brand new, and we have honored that chance on every job since — with the same pride, the same care, and the same promise we started with.
